eizen.ai is an exciting new startup building next generation AI systems based on the cognitive theories of mind. Our approach is hybrid, knowledge-driven, reasoning-based approach, centered around cognitive models in building robust AI systems

We’re looking for an experienced individual who is well versed with Python Development and AI technologies around image and video analysis.

About the role:

In 2014, two important breakthrough papers gave deep learning the start in video recognition. Large-scale Video Classification with Convolutional Neural Networks by Karpathy et. al. and Two-Stream Convolutional Networks for Action Recognition in Videos by Simonyan and Zisserman gave rise to the popularity of single stream and two stream networks in action recognition. The current state of the art for action recognition is the channel separated network. This network effectively captures spatial and spatiotemporal features in their own distinct layers. Your role will be building state-of-the art computer vision algorithms for building the action recognition models.

Responsibilities:

• Writing effective and scalable Python codes
• Designing and implementing robust applications
• Debugging applications to ensure low-latency and high-availability
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Implementing security and data protection
• Accommodating various data storage solution
• Given that this is an early-stage startup, you will play an active role in functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept
• Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.
• Possess expert knowledge in algorithm performance, its scalability and engineering best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelors with 0-5+ years or MS with 0-3+ in engineering
• Minimum 5 experience in Machine Learning & Data Science Frameworks
• Knowledge in TensorFlow / PyTorch
• Experience in developing Python using FastAPI / FLASK frameworks
• Nice to have “Building Data Pipelines”
• Knowledge in GPU technologies and frameworks – CUDA, NVIDIA computer vision SDKs
• Practical experience with software engineering best-practices and a strong desire to create quality solutions and designs
• Experience in design and implementation of large scale, distributed, high performance, and high availability systems
• General understanding of ML concepts (Feature extraction, training regimes, etc)
• Nice to have proven production systems based on Computer Science fundamentals such as: Computer Vision, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis, data structures, and object-oriented design
• Linux environment.
• Ability to document design and document code, write unit tests
• Normal to medium level experience with TDD (test driven development)
