Sr. Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in accounting, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. This role plays a pivotal part in strategic planning, budgeting, and leading the accounts team to support business growth and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports and statements in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support for performance improvement and professional growth.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business goals.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CA are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
