Description
You are a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing the company's financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering accurate financial reports. You will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and mentoring junior staff. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analyzing financial data, monitoring key financial metrics and trends, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate journal entries, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will also be assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances, providing explanations for discrepancies, and preparing and reviewing tax filings. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possession of CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred. You should have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Proficiency in accounting software such as TALLY, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are required. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. You should have strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and a yearly bonus.
