Sr. Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.

Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances including timely filing of returns.

Knowledge of Import/Export is Required.

Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Review and reconcile balance sheet schedules and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Oversee inventory accounting, cost tracking, and coordinate with the production team for proper stock valuation.

Support management with MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial planning.

Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and suggest improvements where necessary.

Supervise and guide junior accountants in day-to-day tasks.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.

Analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Strong interpersonal and team management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (Master’s or CA Inter preferred).

5–8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing / engineering industry.

Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance is a must.
