Qualifications

• Postgraduate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or specification management within the building materials industry

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the target geography and segments
• Arrange and lead business development meetings with prospective influencers (Architects, Builders, Contractors, PMCs)
• Maintain strong coordination with Clients, Architects, Builders, Contractors, and PMCs for project information and specifications
• Independently manage key accounts while tracking project developments and sharing regular performance reports
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, ensuring smooth troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Strategize and execute market development plans to achieve defined business objectives
• Provide technical support to customers on substrates, applications, products, systems, and latest technologies
• Drive business growth by identifying prospects, pitching solutions, and closing deals
• Develop a strong network with Projects, Purchase, BoQ/Tender personnel to influence specifications and project outcomes
• Map and cultivate relationships with Contractors, HNIs, Architects, Structural Consultants, and PMCs
• Support teammates to ensure collective success and collaborative growth
• Ensure quality service by enforcing organizational standards and policies
• Track competitor pricing, product offerings, and market trends for actionable insights
• Conduct and organize marketing activities, including Contractors’ and Architects’ meets
