Join us on our growth journey as we continue to make significant strides in the industry.Job Overview:As a Manager of Research & Development (R&D), you will lead the innovation and product development of products within the construction industry, focusing specifically on adhesives and coatings. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a keen understanding of industry trends.Responsibilities:Product Innovation: Utilize creative skills and extensive research knowledge to enhance current products and develop new ones aligned with market demands and industry trends.Technical Evaluation: Identify and address technical issues during product evaluations, ensuring any discrepancies or problems are resolved promptly.Process Oversight: Manage and assess the effectiveness of tests and trials to refine production processes.Team Leadership: Lead and manage the R&D team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies and procedures.Training & Development: Act as a mentor for the R & D team, providing guidance, training, and support.Communication: Represent the company at conferences, presenting research findings and new technologies.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Expertise in Adhesive and Coating Technology: Profound knowledge of formulations and manufacturing processes specifically for adhesives and coatings.Strong Academic Background: Solid foundation in the relevant scientific principles.Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Leadership: Proven experience in supervising and mentoring team members.Technical Writing: Skilled in technical report writing, documenting findings and processes effectively.Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strategic vision for product development in the construction chemicals sector.
