We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instructional Designer who can create high-impact e-learning content, lead tool adoption and LMS strategy, and drive e-learning initiatives end-to-end. In this role you will partner with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts (SMEs), and learning partners to design, develop, implement and evaluate learning content that fuel growth. You will also contribute to the selection, onboarding, and optimization of our learning experience platform(s) and LMS, including working on Docebo.
A Day in the Life
- Analyse learning needs and knowledge gaps in collaboration with stakeholders across growth, sales enablement, product, customer success and other teams. Create learning paths, eLearning modules, assessments and micro-learning content.
- Design and develop engaging e-learning modules, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments/quizzes, walkthroughs and interactive content using authoring tools.
- Use and manage LMS/learning platforms (experience with Docebo and/or other LMS) to deploy, track and update courses, learning paths and learner analytics.
- Hands on experience of automation enrolments based on groups, branches. Expertise in multi/extended domain management.
- Play a key role in onboarding, configuring or optimizing a learning experience platform (LXP) or LMS ecosystem: vendor evaluation, technical setup, integrations, user experience, adoption strategy.
- Lead end-to-end content development lifecycle: storyboarding, visual design collaboration, development, quality assurance/testing, deployment and evaluation.
- Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Blooms Taxonomy, Kirkpatricks levels) to ensure learning outcomes and learner engagement.
- Leverage data and feedbacke.g., course completion, quiz scores, learner feedbackto continuously improve learning solutions and demonstrate impact.
- If applicable, lead or mentor a small team of instructional designers or freelancers / contractors; manage project timelines, allocate tasks and ensure quality deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Growth Enablement, Product, HR, Technology) with strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
- Advocate for inclusive design, accessibility (e.g., universal design for learning, WCAG principles) and usability in all learning content.
- Stay current with emerging learning technologies, authoring tools, e-learning trends and best practices
Requirements - Bachelors (or higher) degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 7+ years of experience (or more) in instructional design, e-learning development and/or corporate training environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with instructional design software/authoring tools (e.g., iSpring, Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Google presentations/PowerPoint, Excel/G-sheets etc.).
- Proven experience working with LMS platformsideally Doceboand managing course deployment, tracking, reporting and platform configurations.
- Experience in onboarding or managing a learning experience platform (LXP) or similar, or strong knowledge of how to set up, integrate and scale such platforms.
- Good understanding and application of learning theories, adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE/SAM etc.).
- Experience creating engaging e-learning content as well as designing blended/virtual learning experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at writing clear, concise storyboards, scripts and instructional content.
