Job Description – Spare Parts Manager (BDT & Aftermarket Support) Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage Spare Parts Operations for BDT (Off-road Tractors) and aftermarket support. The role involves ensuring parts availability, efficient order execution, pricing, forecasting, and supporting new product launches while maintaining strong coordination with SBU, warehouses, dealers, and channel partners. Key Responsibilities BDT Parts Availability & Tracking Ensure end-to-end tracking of BDT spare parts orders. Coordinate with SBU for same-day dispatches. Define stock norms and ensure MSS efficiency above 95%. Maintain alternate parts master. Order Execution & Fill Rates Work closely with SBU to achieve BDT FFR (First Fill Rate) and Commercial FFR targets. Track and improve order execution to achieve monthly revenue and billing targets. Pricing & Profitability Ensure timely pricing of new spare parts. Drive profitability by revising parts prices based on cost, contribution, and market benchmarking. SAP & Master Data Management Maintain material masters, pricing masters, and related part information in SAP. Coordinate with Accounts, GST, Warehouse Operations, Sourcing, and Demand Planning teams for data accuracy. New Model Readiness Ensure spare parts readiness before new model launches. Finalize basic pricing in coordination with CDMM, SSU & SBU. Define stock norms for new model parts and plan IDK, HUB Kits & WH Kits across warehouses and dealerships. Retrofitment & Demand Planning Ensure parts availability for retrofitment activities. Support demand forecasting and planning processes. Logistics & Delivery Track spare parts orders end-to-end with SBU. Work on improving transit time to channel partners. Revenue Growth Initiatives Develop and implement Navjeevan Kits to increase parts revenue. Support revenue achievement through improved processes and partner support. Channel Partner Support Provide support by resolving queries and tracking FDW pending orders. Coordinate with IT & field teams to ensure order clearance. System & Process Improvement Improve utilization of FDW portal for spare parts. Partner with IT to simplify and automate processes. Desired Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of spare parts management, aftermarket operations, and SAP systems. Proven ability to drive parts availability, order execution, and pricing strategies. Analytical mindset for demand forecasting and market benchmarking. Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and process improvement abilities. Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Engineering/Commerce; MBA preferred. 5–10 years of experience in spare parts management, aftermarket operations, or supply chain. Experience in tractor/automotive/off-road equipment industry will be an advantage.
