Job Title: South Indian Chef Location: Perungudi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced South Indian Chef with a passion for authentic regional cuisine and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing a wide range of South Indian dishes, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Plan and prepare authentic South Indian dishes. ✅ Design and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability. ✅ Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation in every dish served. ✅ Supervise kitchen operations, staff, and daily food preparation activities. ✅ Monitor food inventory, place ingredient orders, and minimize wastage. ✅ Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with FSSAI and local health regulations. ✅ Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards. ✅ Collaborate with management to create special menus, events, or promotions. Key Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience as a South Indian Chef in a reputed restaurant, hotel, or catering setup. Expertise in a wide range of South Indian cuisines (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka styles). Strong understanding of kitchen management, inventory control, and staff supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-volume orders without compromising quality. Good communication and leadership skills.
