Sourcing Specialist

You will be a versatile Sourcing Specialist responsible for procuring essential production materials such as plastic, metal, electronic components, and other raw materials to support our client. As an integral member of the Purchase & Supply Chain team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including production, engineering, creative, and supply chain departments to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and strict quality compliance. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, sourcing, and negotiating with suppliers both in India and globally for a variety of materials. You will be responsible for establishing and fostering strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that materials meet project specifications, production timelines, and quality standards. Monitoring inventory usage and levels, forecasting procurement needs based on production schedules, and ensuring compliance with budgets, quality standards, and regulatory norms will also be crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will continuously evaluate supplier performance and optimize sourcing strategies, while staying updated on market trends, emerging materials, and sustainable sourcing initiatives. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in material sourcing/procurement, particularly with plastic, metal, and electronic components. A proven track record of sourcing from both Indian and international vendors is essential, as well as strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and be proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of supplier management and quality-control processes will be advantageous for this position.
