Solar Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer specializing in solar pump systems, your role will involve designing, testing, and optimizing solar-powered water pumping systems for various applications. You will be responsible for: - Designing and developing efficient solar pump systems, including selecting solar panels, pumps, controllers, and other components. - Creating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. - Conducting simulations and performance evaluations to optimize system efficiency and reliability. - Overseeing the project lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and materials. - Providing technical support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar pump systems. - Developing and delivering training programs for end-users and field technicians. - Conducting on-site inspections and performance assessments to ensure system functionality and customer satisfaction. - Staying updated with the latest advancements in solar energy technology and water pumping solutions. - Conducting research to identify new technologies and methods to improve system performance and reduce costs. - Participating in industry conferences, workshops, and training programs. - Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. - Conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate potential hazards. - Preparing and reviewing safety protocols and procedures. Qualifications required: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. - Proven experience in designing and developing solar pump systems or similar renewable energy projects. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools. - Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and project management skills.,
