Solar Design Engineer

As a Solar Design Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing large-scale solar power plants using your expertise in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp. Your role will involve developing solar plant layouts, SLDs, and electrical schematics, performing energy yield simulations, and designing DC, LT, and HT electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to finalize system designs and conduct feasibility studies to optimize designs based on site constraints. Key Responsibilities: - Develop solar plant layouts, SLDs, and electrical schematics using AutoCAD. - Perform energy yield simulations and system analysis using PVsyst. - Utilize SketchUp for 3D modeling of solar plant layouts. - Design DC, LT, and HT electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to finalize system designs. - Conduct feasibility studies and optimize designs based on site constraints. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. - Experience in MW-scale solar plant design with strong knowledge of DC, LT, and HT systems. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects. Location: Gurgaon Salary: Negotiable.
