Solar Design Engineer

Role Overview: You are sought for the position of Solar Design Engineer at the company, where you will be tasked with designing large-scale solar power plants using your expertise in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp. The ideal candidate should possess experience in MW-scale solar projects and a comprehensive understanding of DC, LT, and HT electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Develop solar plant layouts, SLDs, and electrical schematics using AutoCAD. - Perform energy yield simulations and system analysis with PVsyst. - Utilize SketchUp for 3D modeling of solar plant layouts. - Design DC, LT, and HT electrical systems for optimal performance and efficiency. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to finalize system designs. - Conduct feasibility studies and optimize designs based on site constraints. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. - Experience in MW-scale solar plant design with a strong knowledge of DC, LT, and HT systems. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
