Solar Design Engineer

You are sought for the position of Solar Design Engineer at our company, where you will be tasked with designing large-scale solar power plants using your expertise in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp. The ideal candidate should possess experience in MW-scale solar projects and a comprehensive understanding of DC, LT, and HT electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include developing solar plant layouts, SLDs, and electrical schematics using AutoCAD, performing energy yield simulations and system analysis with PVsyst, utilizing SketchUp for 3D modeling of solar plant layouts, designing DC, LT, and HT electrical systems for optimal performance, efficiency, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to finalize system designs. Additionally, you will be required to conduct feasibility studies and optimize designs based on site constraints. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, possess experience in MW-scale solar plant design with a strong knowledge of DC, LT, and HT systems, demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and SketchUp, exhibit strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and showcase the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
