Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Documentation

• Analyze project requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
• Ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation for all test processes and outcomes.

Test Execution

• Conduct manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Accurately log test results and report bugs or issues with precision.

Defect Management

• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as

  JIRA

  or similar.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.

Automation & Tools

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like

  Selenium, JUnit

  , or similar frameworks.
• Support ongoing improvement of the test automation framework and tools.

Process Improvement & Best Practices

• Adhere to QA standards and best practices.
• Contribute ideas for improving testing efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in

  Computer Science

  ,

  Information Technology

  , or related field.
• Around

  3 years of experience

  in software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g.,

  Selenium, JUnit

  ).
• Familiarity with

  SDLC

  and

  Agile

  methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of

  Java

  or similar programming languages.
• Experience with

  Decision Management Solutions

  or enterprise-grade applications.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g.,

  Git

  ).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like
