Software Tester

You will be joining Prometteur Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Tester with 3-5 years of experience. **Role Overview:** As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases. Your role will involve conducting functional/regression testing of the entire application, evaluating product code based on specifications, creating logs to document testing phases and defects, reporting bugs and errors to development teams, and performing post-release/post-implementation testing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in Manual Testing. - Design, develop, maintain and execute test plans and test cases. - Able to execute functional/regression testing of the entire application. - Evaluate product code according to specifications. - Create logs to document testing phases and defects. - Report bugs and errors to development teams. - Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing. - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC & defect Lifecycle. - Able to perform different types of testing like Smoke, Sanity, Integration, Regression Testing, etc. - Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Good Communication/Verbal/Written & Analytical skills. - Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries is preferable. - Able to work as an individual contributor. - Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. - Experience in project management and QA methodology. - Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus. **Qualification Required:** - 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing. - Proficiency in Manual Testing. - Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect Lifecycle. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and regression testing.
