Software Tester

About the Role:

detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze

  system specifications, user stories, and requirements

  .
• Design, develop, and execute

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  for manual and automated testing.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  .
• Identify, record, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g.,

  Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis

  ).
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand product requirements and resolve issues.
  
• Conduct

  API testing, UI testing, and compatibility testing

  as required.
• Participate in

  sprint planning and review meetings

  as part of the Agile/Scrum process.

Key Skills :

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  .
• Proven experience as a

  Software Tester, QA Engineer, or Test Analyst

  .
• Strong understanding of

  software testing methodologies

  and

  SDLC/STLC

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  manual testing

  and familiarity with

  automation testing tools

  (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress).
• Knowledge of

  SQL

  for database validation and backend testing.
• Experience with

  API testing tools

  like

  Postman or REST Assured

  .
• Familiarity with

  version control tools

  such as Git.
