Software Tester

Role Overview: You will be responsible for both automation and manual testing activities within a reputed mid-level company. Your role will include tasks such as deployment of the war in Production Environment, generating daily sanity test reports, setting up the Environment for different instances, API testing of Restful web services, and developing automation scripts using Selenium Web Driver. Additionally, you will be involved in manual testing activities including participating in Sprint Retrospective Meetings, preparing Daily Status Reports, and executing functional testing on various domains such as Human Resource, E-Commerce, Travel, and Hospitality. Key Responsibilities: - Deployment of the war in Production Environment - Certified that build is ready for Production Environment - Generating daily sanity test report through Jenkins - Setting up the Environment (Production Replica) for different instances - API Testing of Restful web services using JAX-RS - Designing automation scripts using thin client and Selenium Web Driver - Automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver - Developing and working with Page Object Model - Testing in all phases of SDLC and STLC - Participating in Sprint Retrospective Meetings - Involvement in preparing Daily Status Report - Working with Agile Methodology using Scrum Framework - Understanding of Agile, JIRA, and Scrum - Handling Defect Life Cycle, Defect Workflow, and Test case design technique - Functional Testing on Web Applications - Hands-on Experience in Domains such as Human resource, E-Commerce, Travel, and Hospitality Qualification Required: - Must have 1 Year of experience as a Software Tester - 1 Year Bond compulsory - Strong Programming, Communication, and Problem-Solving Skills - Three Months probation period Additional Company Details: The job location for this position is in Pune.
