Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Documentation

• Analyse project requirements and create detailed, structured test plans and test cases.
• Ensure complete coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for all test activities.

Test Execution

• Perform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Record test results and log defects with clarity and precision.

Defect Management

• Identify and report software issues using tools such as JIRA or similar.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve defects.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
• Communicate testing status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly.

Automation & Tools

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like

  Selenium

  ,

  JUnit

  , or similar.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and tools.

Process Improvement & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes.
• Contribute ideas for improving product quality and team efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of

  5 years of experience

  in software testing.
• Strong understanding of

  software QA methodologies

  , tools, and processes.
• Experience with

  automated testing tools

  (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Good working knowledge of

  SDLC and Agile methodologies

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of

  Java

  or other programming languages.
• Experience with

  Decision Management Solutions

  or similar enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to CI/CD environments and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
