Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Test Engineer (QA) with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in testing web, mobile, and API applications, with a passion for delivering high-quality software. The role requires excellent communication skills, leadership capabilities to guide and direct a team, and the ability to ensure robust testing processes for our AI-driven platform. Knowledge of AI/ML testing is a plus, and QA certifications are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing to validate platform functionality and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on testing strategies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of features on the www.lowtouch.ai platform.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Ensure testing processes adhere to quality standards and project timelines, delivering defect-free software.
• Stay updated on emerging testing methodologies, tools, and trends, with a focus on AI/ML testing where applicable.
• Communicate test progress, results, and quality metrics effectively to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies to support scalable and reliable software delivery.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Test Engineer (QA) in a product-based or IT services company.
• Strong expertise in testing web applications, mobile applications (iOS/Android), and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Proven ability to lead and direct a team of QA engineers, with a focus on fostering collaboration and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate issues, solutions, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of AI/ML testing, including validating machine learning models, data pipelines, or AI-driven features.
• Experience with cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).
• QA certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, or similar) are highly desirable.
• Experience working on SaaS platforms or AI-driven products.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
