About The Team WPAP platform provides Treasury & FX services, Payout and and paying capability to its merchants. WPAP processes transactions that are not initiated by standard payment methods i.e., credit/debit cards, but instead processes transactions through numerous different types of alternative payment methods (APMs) like Bankouts, Payins, OpenBanking etc. WPAP currently offers approximately 86 Alternative Payment Methods. As part of FX, WPAP offers the APMs like Bankouts ,Bankins and Openbanking services in different currencies What You Will Own Collaborate with architects and product teams to design technical solutions aligned with business goals.Leads the development of advanced .NET applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability The role involves hands-on coding in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, along with implementing microservices and integrating APIs. They mentor developers, enforce coding best practices, and drive technical excellence across projects Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise-grade architecture is essential They also troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes. Where you’ll own it You’ll own it in our modern Pune hub. With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, things move fast in APAC. What You Bring Interacts with product owners and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Applying Best Practices for Development Code Quality / Review, SQL review (before SQL team review!), Code review, Merge accountability, Re-factoring of existing workflows (alongside BAU commitment) Security compliance (CheckMarx, sonar, Blackduck etc.) Develop core versions of software applications or enhance the existing components as per planned roadmap. Identifies feature requirements well and technical specifications through Product Management and PO. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with different stakeholders on systems application as and when needed. Works efficiently as a Senior Expert in the team for successful deliveries and guides team members as well when in need. Should be working with Onsite architect and stake holders to understand the requirement. Should design the application to convert the actual requirement into technical specification. Must troubleshoot the PROD incidents and provide work around to our Release team and our stakeholders. Should groom junior team members Should review code performances Should Lead team technically and groom it on new requirement and closely working with Architect on existing and NEW requirement.
