Must have Backbase platform testing (mandatory) on Resume

Senior QE / SDET Engineer

Responsibilities:

Lead and drive QA automation initiatives for Backbase-based banking applications.
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using
Selenium with C# and Visual Studio IDE
.
Develop and execute
API test automation
using tools like
Postman, RestSharp, or similar frameworks
.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD integration of automated test suites.
Conduct
Backbase widget and service-level testing
, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
Perform data validation and database testing (SQL queries, stored procedures).
Identify, document, and track defects to closure, ensuring product quality and release readiness.
Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and review sessions.
Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure QA best practices are followed.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years
of experience in
Quality Engineering / Test Automation
.
Strong Banking Domain Experience
— preferably in retail or digital banking platforms.
Hands-on experience with Backbase platform testing (mandatory)
.
Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver
for UI automation.
Strong knowledge of C# and Visual Studio IDE
(must-have).
Experience with API testing
(manual and automated).
Solid understanding of databases
(SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).
Experience with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Experience with
SpecFlow
,
NUnit
, or
xUnit
test frameworks.
Knowledge of
performance testing tools
(e.g., JMeter).
Exposure to
cloud environments
(Azure or AWS).

Work Hours:

Must be available to work in
PST hours
