How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement applications using Java and/or Python and leading industry tools and frameworks.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in Cloud, Java, and Python development.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and optimize applications.
• Cloud Technology Utilization: Leverage cloud platforms like GCP.
• Perform hands-on software development, writing code, API specs, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
• Drive consistent development practices - tools and common components
• Optimize and fine-tune applications to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Casandra
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.
• Work with technical product managers contributing to blueprints and assisting with annual planning of feature sets.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external teams.
• CI/CD Implementation: Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes A problem solver, open to learning. Should have experience in troubleshooting, optimizing, solutioning and keeping up with evolving technologies - as a leading member of the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science with 1-3 years of experience.
• Experience in Programming Languages: Java, Vertx & Reactive framework and Python and others.
• Experience in designing & developing Java applications, API, services, Micro services-based architecture using frameworks like Spring Boot or Vertx.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Casandra.
• Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and familiarity with Unix/Linux
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Great written communication and documentation abilities
• Looks proactively beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels across functions, from both technical and non-technical perspectives alike.
• Proficient in writing clean and efficient code to implement machine learning algorithms.
• Understanding of RESTful principles and experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
• Cloud Knowledge: Proficient in cloud computing technologies.
• Ability to create scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
