You will serve as the technical bridge between our customers, product, and engineering teams — designing, implementing, and supporting solutions that bring real business impact.This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys both coding and collaborating directly with customers to shape product direction.
Responsibility
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and design technical solutions using Astra - Wati's latest AI Agent platform
- Build, customize, and integrate APIs, microservices, and automation workflows
- Collaborate with product managers to translate customer needs into product improvements
- Deliver product demos, POCs, and technical workshops to enterprise clients
- Debug and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and internal tooling
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or backend development
- Strong coding ability in JavaScript, Python, or Go (bonus: hands-on with APIs/SDKs)
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms, integrations, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to balance product usability and technical feasibility
Bonus Points
- Prior experience in customer-facing engineering roles (Solutions Engineer, Pre-sales, or Technical Consultant)
- AI agent experiences
- Experience with messaging platforms, CRM, or CPaaS products
- Track record of delivering POCs or technical onboarding for enterprise clients
