We are seeking a Software Developer with a strong focus on backend technologies to join our growing team in Mohali. The ideal candidate must be well-versed with modern backend frameworks and tools and enthusiastic about blockchain integrations like Node.js, TypeScript, Web3, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Docker.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Integrate blockchain functionality by working with Web3.js or ethers.js, enabling secure communication with smart contracts and Ethereum-compatible networks.
• Develop and manage event-driven architectures utilizing RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka to support distributed, scalable systems.
• Containerize backend services using Docker to streamline deployment, scalability, and development workflows.
• Continuously enhance system architecture and backend code for improved performance, efficiency, and resilience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and blockchain specialists to build cohesive, full-stack solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Implement robust security protocols for API development and blockchain integration to safeguard data and system integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deploy long-term, sustainable fixes.
• Actively participate in agile development processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong background in developing scalable and maintainable backend applications.
• Hands-on experience integrating with blockchain networks and smart contracts using Web3.js or ethers.js.
• Proficient in designing and implementing message queuing systems using RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka to support event-driven, distributed architectures.
• Skilled in leveraging Docker for containerizing applications to streamline deployment and enhance development efficiency.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration, emphasizing secure, reliable, and efficient service communication.
• Solid experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and the development of distributed systems for high-availability and large-scale applications.
• Proficient in using Git, managing CI/CD pipelines, and working with automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and consistent delivery.
