Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Officer to manage and grow our online presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all social media channels for the Satat Sampada group and its initiatives. Your primary goal will be to create and share engaging content that promotes our brand, showcases our organic products, and tells compelling stories about our work in sustainable farming and climate action.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Strategy:

• Develop, curate, and schedule engaging and high-quality content, while collaborating with the design team for all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Blue Sky and YouTube.
• Maintain a dynamic and consistent content calendar aligned with our marketing goals and initiatives.
• Write clear, compelling, and creative copy for posts, ensuring a consistent brand voice.

Community Management:

• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
• Engage with our community in a timely and professional manner, building a positive and interactive online environment.
• Grow our follower base organically across all platforms.

Campaigns and Promotion:

• Assist in planning and executing organic and paid social media campaigns to promote our products, events and advocacy work.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and achieve campaign objectives.
• Highlight our work in organic food, farming and climate action.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Track and analyse key social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic).
• Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide insights for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Media Management, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist, Social Media Officer, or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Blue Sky, YouTube).
• Basic understanding of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, basic video editing software).
• Writing, editing and communication skills in English and Hindi with a keen eye for detail.
• A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• A genuine passion for sustainability, organic food, farming, and climate action is a must.
