Role Description

We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead Make It Happen’s digital storytelling across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. This role blends content strategy, community building, campaign execution, and analytics. You will bring our cultural experiences, storytellers, hosts, and destinations alive through powerful content that inspires travellers across India.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to engage effectively across various platforms
  • Proficiency in Content Strategy development and execution
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing techniques and trends
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to analyze performance metrics
  • Proven record of managing successful social media campaigns
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop monthly content calendars across all platforms
  • Conceptualise reels, posts, carousels, campaigns, contests, and UGC programs
  • Align all content with brand voice, narrative, and business goals

2. Content Creation & Production

  • Write captions, scripts, and briefs for in-house and external creators
  • Oversee shoots: pre-production, location coordination, briefing hosts/storytellers
  • Edit basic reels, images, and stories when required
  • Ensure high-quality visual storytelling that reflects MIH’s aesthetic

3. Social Media Management

  • Manage daily postings, scheduling, and platform hygiene
  • Engage with community: comments, DMs, enquiries, collaborations
  • Identify trends and adapt content ideas accordingly

4. Performance & Analytics

  • Track KPIs: reach, engagement, follower growth, link clicks, conversion
  • Share weekly & monthly reports with insights and action points
  • Run experiments (A/B tests, formats, posting times)

5. Campaign & Collab Management

  • Coordinate with influencer partners, hotels, storytellers, travel creators
  • Design campaigns for launches, festivals, new experiences, events
  • Execute paid boost strategies (working with agency/tools when needed)

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Product, Sales, Ops, and Partnerships teams
  • Build content pipelines from experiences, guest stories, reviews, and hosts
  • Support B2B decks, announcements, and PR messaging when needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
