Role Overview

Social Media Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement

  social media strategies

  that reflect the ethos of a design institution.
• Plan, create, and publish

  high-quality content

  (posts, reels, stories, blogs, videos) across platforms – Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
• Curate and promote

  User-Generated Content (UGC)

  to showcase student creativity, alumni achievements, and community engagement.
• Write

  creative and compelling copy

  tailored for diverse audiences – prospective students, parents, industry partners, and design enthusiasts.
• Collaborate with design, academic, and admissions teams to highlight campus life, events, workshops, and achievements.
• Monitor analytics and performance to

  optimize campaigns

  for reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Stay updated with

  trends in design, youth culture, and digital media

  to keep the college’s content fresh, innovative, and inspiring.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in

  social media and content marketing

  .
• Strong understanding of

  visual design principles

  and ability to work with design teams/tools.
• Proven ability to craft

  creative copy

  with a storytelling approach.
• Experience leveraging

  UGC, influencer collaborations, and community-driven content

  .
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media insights and reporting.
