Role Overview We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our content and community efforts across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Twitter (X), and Facebook — with the ultimate goal of organic lead generation . Key Responsibilities: Organic Growth & Lead Generation Design and execute organic social media strategies to generate qualified leads for our agency and its programs (like Bharat Digital Champ). Plan and run DM funnels, comment bait tactics, viral content formats , and growth loops. Track and optimize engagement-to-lead conversion funnels . Develop community-building campaigns (polls, challenges, live sessions, UGC campaigns). Content Strategy & Execution Build monthly content calendars for different brands and offerings under The Yellow Pillow. Write high-converting captions , viral hooks, and engaging storylines that attract our target audience. Coordinate with the design team to deliver scroll-stopping visuals (Reels, carousels, infographics). Platform Management Own and manage our presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, X (Twitter), and Facebook . Monitor trends and implement platform-specific content strategies. Schedule posts using tools like Buffer, Metricool, or Publer. Analytics & Reporting Track weekly KPIs: reach, engagement, follower growth, lead flow, etc. Use tools like Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and Google Sheets to create reports and recommend data-backed improvements. Community Engagement Build and manage conversations in comments, DMs, and community groups. Set up and scale interactive touchpoints like Live AMAs, polls, and DM lead magnets. Who You Are Must-Haves 2–5 years experience in social media marketing with proof of organic lead generation. Deep understanding of content psychology, social algorithms, and buyer behavior . Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills. Proven experience growing Instagram, LinkedIn , and YouTube Shorts accounts. Proficiency in tools like Canva, Metricool, Notion, Google Sheets , etc. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (designers, video editors, content writers). Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc. Knowledge of growth hacking techniques. Managed social presence for digital products, personal brands , or coaching businesses . Familiar with community tools like Telegram, Discord, Facebook Groups .
