Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel and adept at using social media to build and engage with our online community. This role involves managing our social media accounts, creating compelling content, and developing strategies to increase our brand's online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.).

• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, image, and video) that aligns with Shalom brand voice and goals.

• Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a positive community and engagement.

• Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends.

• Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to support marketing objectives and boost brand awareness.

• Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget planning, targeting, and performance analysis.

• Engage with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and credibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.

• Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.

• Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and design.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with social media advertising and campaign management is a plus.

• Passion for travel and understanding of the backpacker and budget travel market is highly desirable.
