Role Overview

We are hiring a SOC Analyst for a 3-year onsite engagement in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have 4–8 years of experience as a SOC Analyst with mandatory hands-on expertise in FortiGate and FortiSIEM. The role demands strong technical knowledge and direct client interaction experience, as you will act as the key interface between the customer and GWC’s SOC/MDR teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact between the customer and GWC’s MDR/SOC teams.
• Coordinate and track incident response activities including triage, validation, and escalation.
• Support onboarding of new log sources, asset visibility updates, and changes related to SIEM, SOAR, and MDR workflows.
• Review and validate security alerts, incident tickets, and reports generated by the MDR platform.
• Provide inputs during service review meetings and share insights on incident trends and emerging threats.
• Ensure timely communication of critical incidents to customer stakeholders.
• Maintain and update operational documentation (procedures, runbooks, reporting templates).
• Collaborate with customer IT/security teams on investigations, remediation, and audits.
• Leverage FortiSIEM and EDR platforms to support security operations.

Key Requirements

• 4–8 years of proven experience as a SOC Analyst (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate and FortiSIEM (must-have).
• Strong technical knowledge in SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and MDR workflows.
• Prior client-facing experience with direct customer interaction is essential.
• Familiarity with incident management processes, ticketing systems, and escalation procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with MSSP or MDR service providers is an advantage.
