Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Engineer – Fire Fighting System to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection systems on-site. The candidate will ensure that all systems are installed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and local fire codes.

• Key Responsibilities:Supervise the installation of fire fighting systems (sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, FM200, CO2 systems, etc.) at the project site.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for fire protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local fire authority regulations, and project-specific requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper installation and workmanship.
• Liaise with consultants and fire authorities for inspections, approvals, and certifications.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and site documentation.
• Assist in the testing, commissioning, and handover of fire protection systems.
• Ensure implementation of health and safety procedures during work execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to fire fighting installations.
• Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire protection/fire fighting system installations.
• Familiar with NFPA codes, local fire safety codes, and standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
