Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and implement procurement strategies specific to fire protection and detection projects. Source, evaluate, and maintain a network of reliable vendors and OEMs for: Fire Alarm Systems (panels, detectors, modules) Fire Suppression Systems (gas-based, water mist, clean agent, etc.) Hydrant and Sprinkler Systems (pipes, valves, fittings, pumps) Fire Extinguishers and Accessories Cables, Hooters, MCPs, and other electrical/electronic detection components Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, payment terms, and warranty conditions. Analyze technical data and specifications to ensure compatibility with project BOQs. Ensure compliance with industry standards (IS, UL/FM, NFPA, BIS) and obtain necessary test certificates and approvals. Coordinate with Design, Projects, and Quality departments for material approvals and inspections. Maintain optimum inventory levels and monitor reorder points. Conduct in-process and final inspections of fire fighting equipment and installations. Review and approve product drawings, specifications, and test plans.
