Site Engineer - Fire Fighting System

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems (hydrant, sprinkler, gas suppression, pump room, etc.) as per project specifications and IS/NBC/NFPA codes.
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure project progress as per timelines.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on site.
• Read and interpret design drawings, layouts, and BOQs; mark services and execute accordingly.
• Interact with consultants, clients, and vendors for smooth site execution.
• Maintain and update daily progress reports, material records, and site documentation.
• Monitor subcontractors and labor teams for productivity and compliance.
• Support inspections by authorities, consultants, and clients.
• Coordinate with the head office (Pune) for material dispatches, manpower requirements, and technical support.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems and installation practices
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving and site issue resolution
• Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing interface
• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality assurance
  

Eligibility:

• Qualification:

  Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Fire Engineering

• Experience:

  Minimum 2 years in fire fighting project execution preferred

• Languages:

  Proficiency in Hindi and English (regional language knowledge is a plus)

• Willingness to relocate and work at project sites (Kolkata/Hyderabad/Shrirampur)
