Job Description

Site Engineer – Fire Fighting System

Roles and Responsibilities

• Daily Progress Monitoring of Project in Execution

• Coordination between Clients, Management, Execution Team, Vendors and Procurement Team.

• Understanding and catering to project requirements (Design, Material, Manpower, and Petty Cash) on a timely basis

• Material Management

• Manpower Management

• Review of Customer Billing and return material

• Maintaining/establishing standards for various Installations / Materials.

• Must be from Fire Fighting systems

• Fire and Safety Diploma / Engineering


Other Skills

• Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality

• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.


Other Requirement

• Must have own 2-wheeler



Roles and Responsibilities:

1.) Act as the main person responsible for reporting to the Site Project Manager on a construction site for carrying out daily site activities with subcontractors and clients as well.

2) Check and Review plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.

3) Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.

4) Ensure that all work is done in accordance with drawings and specification.

5) Liaise with any consultants, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Planning Team, Safety Team and the general workforce involved in the project.

6) Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects and engineers) including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.

7) Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.

9) Plan the work and efficiently organize the site activities in order to meet agreed deadlines.

10) Oversee health and safety matters on site.

11) Ensure that stored material at site is kept in proper manner and update daily stock register for Material In and Material Issue Register to sub-contractors.

12) Prepare reports such as daily progress report, stock inward outward reports, Checklist etc.

13) Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at site.

14) Maintaining Daily Progress Report and Project related documents and report to Project Managers, Deputy General Managers and clients.


Desired Candidate Profile :

1) Diploma in Mechanical / B.E in Mechanical / Relevant experience in Fire Fighting.

2) Must be able to handle labour contractors.

2) Installation and Commissioning of Fire Fighting Systems

3) Preferably 1 TO 2 years of experience in Fire Fighting Industry
