Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Site Engineer to supervise and manage all engineering and technical aspects of construction at The Ananda Resort. This role involves project planning, quality control, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards while leading onsite construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Project Execution

• Implement and monitor engineering plans as per the project scope.
• Ensure adherence to architectural and structural designs and specifications.
• Manage day-to-day technical site operations efficiently.
• Conduct site layout checks, measurements, and inspections.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor progress to meet deadlines and ensure timely project delivery.
• Resolve technical issues and unexpected site challenges.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Ensure construction work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain safety compliance by conducting routine inspections.
• Enforce safety regulations and perform risk assessments.

Team & Resource Management

• Supervise on-site contractors, workers.
• Allocate tasks effectively and ensure work discipline.
• Train and mentor junior staff on technical protocols and safety practices.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain records of materials used, manpower deployment, and expenses.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage material delivery and usage.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (mandatory).
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of on-site experience as a Site Engineer (residential, commercial, or hospitality sector).

Technical & Soft Skills

• Strong understanding of construction engineering concepts.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and layouts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project management tools.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualities

• Candidates from an Army/Forces background preferred.
• Disciplined, proactive, and performance-oriented.
• Detail-focused with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Well-versed in local building codes and construction practices.
