Role Overview

Shopify engine

In this role, you’ll work directly with the Founder and digital team to make our Shopify store faster, cleaner, easier to navigate, and more aligned with how people shop for Ayurvedic solutions today.

From product uploads to blog publishing, from fixing theme issues to improving conversions — you’ll shape how users experience Ayurveda through our store.

What You’ll Do

1. Shopify Store Optimization

• Improve store structure, navigation, collections, and product hierarchy.
• Fix broken links, layout issues, theme bugs, or UX problems.
• Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and page load performance.
• Manage Shopify apps, ensure clean setup, remove unnecessary ones, and improve workflows.

2. Product Creation & Catalog Management

• Create, upload, and maintain complete, accurate, high-quality product listings.
• Write clean, SEO-ready product titles, descriptions, variants, pricing, and tags.
• Manage collections, sorting rules, product categories, and inventory mapping.
• Ensure product pages have the right media, icons, PDFs, infographics, and assets.

3. Content & Blog Publishing

• Create and publish blogs within Shopify, following SEO structure and readability guidelines.
• Format blogs with internal links, images, alt text, and clean formatting.
• Help maintain a blog calendar aligned with Ayurvedic education and product marketing.

4. SEO & AEO Support for Shopify

• Implement on-page SEO (H1s, meta titles, alt text, schema, breadcrumbs, etc.)
• Strengthen structured data to help Google & AI engines understand our products better.
• Improve product discoverability across search engines and AI platforms.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure Shopify pages follow best practices.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track Shopify performance metrics and find bottlenecks.
• Suggest conversion-focused improvements (CRO).
• Conduct small experiments and present clear, measurable results.
• Keep the store fresh, updated, and technically healthy at all times.

Budget: ₹ 40000 per month

What We’re Looking For

• Mandatory: Prior experience working in a D2C brand

  (e-commerce or wellness preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify store management and product setup.
• Solid understanding of Shopify SEO, structured data, and performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot or improve theme-level issues (or coordinate with devs when needed).
• Strong English writing skills for product descriptions and blogs.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
• Comfortable working independently and delivering clean, error-free output.
• Curious about evolving trends in AI-driven search, AEO, and semantic optimization.
• Bonus: Experience in Ayurveda, wellness, health supplements, or natural products.
