Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to help us elevate and scale Cumin Co. 's e-commerce experience. Your primary responsibility will be to build, customize, and optimize our Shopify store, ensuring seamless functionality, performance, and brand consistency. This is a high-impact role that directly contributes to Cumin Co. 's digital growth, giving you the opportunity to work closely with design, marketing, and growth teams while shaping the online journey of a fast-growing D2C brand.

Responsibilities

Build, customize, and maintain Cumin Co. 's Shopify store to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
Implement responsive, brand-consistent designs that enhance customer engagement.
Customize Shopify themes and integrate relevant third-party apps.
Optimize website performance, page speed, and SEO to drive conversions.
Work closely with the design, marketing, and growth teams to translate brand needs into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve website and app-related issues promptly.
Manage and integrate with payment gateways, logistics platforms, CRM, and analytics tools.
Stay up to date with Shopify releases, new features, and e-commerce best practices.

Requirements

2-3 years of proven experience in Shopify development, ideally with D2C or e-commerce brands.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
Experience with Shopify APIs, app integrations, and custom app development.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with attention to detail.
Experience working with Shopify Plus.
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and A/B testing for conversion optimization.
Familiarity with analytics, automation, and performance tracking tools.
