Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer intern will be responsible for developing and maintaining Shopify themes, ensuring they are optimized for performance and user experience. Daily tasks will include coding, debugging, testing, and refining frontend and backend functionalities. Collaboration with the design team to implement visually appealing interfaces and improving site navigability are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and building
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
• Understanding of backend development and API integrations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in eCommerce and web performance optimization
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field is a plus
