Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shift Management:

    • Supervise and coordinate all activities during the shift.
    • Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
    • Manage shift schedules, including staff assignments and breaks.
  2. Production Oversight:

    • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
    • Ensure efficient use of resources and materials.
    • Address any issues or malfunctions in the production process promptly.
  3. Quality Control:

    • Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
    • Implement corrective actions for any deviations from quality standards.
  4. Staff Supervision:

    • Lead, train, and motivate shift staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
    • Address and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts.
  5. Food Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to all health and food safety regulations.
    • Conduct food safety briefings, HACCP,OPRP,CCP and training sessions.
    • Maintain a food safe and clean, hygiene working environment.
  6. Reporting:

    • Prepare and submit shift reports in hard and soft copy in Excel, including production data, issues encountered, and resolutions.
    • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and staff activities.
  7. Coordination:

    • Liaise with other shift executives and department managers.
    • Ensure smooth handover between shifts.
    • Communicate any significant issues to upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Food Tech, Master in Food Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory role within a FMCG manufacturing or production environment and preferred for the Spice Industry .
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Good understanding of production processes and quality control.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Punjabi language,
    • Strong in Microsoft excel , word and power point

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in food industry to complies all the food standard and audit.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., heat, noise).

Work Hours:

  • Details about shift timings, e.g., rotating shifts, night shifts, etc
