Overview:

ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within the

  ServiceNow SPM suite

  , including:

• Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

• Demand Management

• Resource Management

• Time Tracking

• Agile Development / SAFe (if applicable)

• Customize forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies specific to SPM modules.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance analytics within ServiceNow to support portfolio and resource planning decisions.
• Integrate SPM with other ServiceNow modules and external systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis for SPM-related functionalities.
• Ensure platform best practices, coding standards, and governance policies are followed.
• Participate in testing, training, and documentation activities.
• Support upgrades and enhancements to the ServiceNow platform.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of ServiceNow development experience

  , with a focus on SPM / ITBM modules.
• Proven experience implementing and customizing:

• Project and Portfolio Management

• Demand Management

• Resource Management

• Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities including Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, REST APIs, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and managing development sprints in ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with performance analytics and custom dashboard creation.
• Strong understanding of project and portfolio governance principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM / ITBM

• Experience with SAFe or Agile Development modules.
• Experience with integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools (JIRA, Clarity, MS Project, etc.).
• Knowledge of CMDB and its relation to project and portfolio planning.
