Servicenow Developer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Implement and configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and CMDB.
• Develop custom workflows, UI policies, Catalog forms, business rules, and scripts to automate and enhance platform functionality.
• Develop and maintain front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deliver improvements to ITSM practices that support multiple applications and multiple Lines of Business.
• Design and Develop ServiceNow Tables, Fields, Forms and Access Controls.
• Automate the Business process with ServiceNow platform using Flow Designer and/or Workflow Engine.
• Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to ServiceNow applications, collaborating with end-users to resolve problems efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.
• Assist in creating documentation and training materials for end-users.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate their scripting capabilities in one or more of the common languages used by ServiceNow, including Java Script, HTML, Angular, etc.
• Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.
• Experience in Creating Catalog Forms, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, etc.
• Experience in creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
• Experience in Flow Designer and Workflow Engine.
• Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs.
• A fundamental understanding of Service Now Modules.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks.
• Strong communication, Strong presentation and writing skills.
