Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on ITSM, CMDB, Security Operations (SecOps), and Integrated Risk Management (IRM). This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and best practices, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to:

IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Level Management.

Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB health, and data integrity.

Security Operations (SecOps): Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Threat Intelligence.

Integrated Risk Management (IRM): Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, and Audit Management.

• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, and Integrations.
• Develop and maintain integrations with other systems using various methods such as REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
• Perform system administration tasks, including user and group management, access control, and platform upgrades.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, SecOps, and IRM modules.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and GlideScript.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles and processes.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications in ITSM, CMDB, SecOps, or IRM.
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Familiarity with other IT operations management tools.
