Service Manager

An automotive service manager's job is to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of a dealership's service department by managing staff, coordinating service schedules, handling customer interactions and complaints, overseeing budgets and inventory, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, customer service skills, a deep understanding of the auto industry, and the ability to meet departmental goals and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Management:
• Hiring, training, and managing service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Assigning work duties and coaching employees on service sales and customer service tactics.
• Monitoring employee performance and maintaining high morale.
• Customer Relations:
• Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
• Handling customer complaints, resolving issues, and building loyal customer relationships.
• Communicating service information, estimates, and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Operational Oversight:
• Coordinating vehicle repair and maintenance schedules for optimal productivity.
• Managing the service department's budget, parts inventory, and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with safety policies, regulations, and manufacturer warranty procedures.
• Business Development:
• Developing and implementing strategies to meet departmental sales goals and drive revenue.
• Analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to attract new business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
