Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the service process.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and escalations promptly.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction (CSI) scores and implement improvement actions.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships and promote service loyalty programs.

2. Workshop & Technical Management

  • Supervise the workshop floor, allocate jobs, and ensure timely repairs.
  • Monitor quality of work performed by technicians and ensure zero rework.
  • Ensure proper diagnosis of vehicles using OEM tools and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits of workshop tools, equipment, and safety standards.

3. Staff Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide skill development guidance.
  • Ensure adequate manpower planning and shift scheduling.

4. Operational Efficiency

  • Manage daily service operations, job card flow, and workflow management.
  • Oversee spare parts coordination to avoid delays in job delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to OEM guidelines, warranty policies, and SOPs.
  • Implement lean processes to improve turnaround time (TAT).

5. Revenue & Business Development

  • Achieve service department revenue, profitability, and productivity targets.
  • Promote value-added services, AMC packages, and extended warranties.
  • Monitor service upselling by the team and track performance metrics.
  • Control expenses and optimize resource utilization.

6. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (work load, TAT, productivity, revenue).
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety rules, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with OEM representatives for audits, training, and feedback.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Graduation
  • 5 years of experience in automobile service operations (with leadership exposure).
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage large teams and high workshop volumes.
  • Proficiency in DMS/CRM systems and OEM service tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
