What would you do?
We are seeking a dynamic and young professional to join our team as a specialist for payment and card operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects payment operations (Direct Debit Indemnities, International Payments, Cheque Operations). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Payment operations and proven team management skills to drive results in a competitive banking environment.
What are we looking for?

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations (International Payments, Cheque Operations), ensuring efficient and customer-centric services.
- Responsible for delivering time sensitive and critical electronic payments.
- Review electronic payments, payment investigations, reconciliations, Charge back, ATM, ACH credits & Debits, Manual wire transfers
- Sound knowledge in international payment and clearing process (ACH reconciliations)
- Expertise in Payment systems and Mechanisms and good understanding of Payment products – Cheque, Cross Border Payments, Payment Exceptions
- Good oral and written communication are must since the process involves sending emails to client/vendor.
- Client facing or client interaction experience is must as the process requires direct interaction with client or vendors.
- Should drive the team to provide work product within the stringent timeline and improved quality.
- Responsible for allocation, recon, daily and monthly reports or dashboards
- Should work independently with or without supervision.
- Realize accountability and ensure the team completes the task at hand and on time.
- Involves high level of critical thinking and independent decision making.
- Fraud Risk Management
- Strong governance in managing team members, leads and resolving people disputes. Addressing issue through appropriate conversation and finding solution
- Act as business advisor, who can oversee planning, implementation and tracking of any short-term project. Creation of client value ideas and streamlining automation projects.
- Take the lead role in resolving critical issues raised during operations and proactively manage and monitor control efficacy to ensure potential risk is minimized
- Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to management on timely manner
- Demonstrate sound judgement, forward thinking and impactful problem-solving skills to resolve team issues in accurate and timely manner
- Demonstrate ability to analyse data, identify trends and variances, draw conclusions and put forward recommendations that are insightful and address improvements for current and future needs of the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to provide robust and relevant financial advice to key internal stakeholders
- Headcount tracking and reporting in liaison with the Business Managers, Central PMO Roles and Responsibilities:
- In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
- May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
- The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
- Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor
- May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
- Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
- Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside
- Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
- Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
- Preferably Commerce Graduate
- Candidates should have experience in electronic payments, payment investigations and reconciliations with team handling experience
- Experience in Automation identification and process reengineering
- Increase and maintain the team s client portfolio through business development techniques
- Proactive approach and attention to details in analysing the process and build process framework in managing the risk parameters
- Ensuring to have strong governance on all the cost metrics and plan in leading more of revenue generating role
- Creating road map for individuals based on there performance and staging them for promotion
- Work with manager on Adhoc activities for new project proposal and sharing insights based on experiences
