Role Overview
The Service Delivery Manager – Cybersecurity will act as the strategic owner
of service delivery, ensuring seamless execution of IT and cybersecurity projects while
maintaining strong client partnerships. This role blends service ownership, P&L
accountability, and technical involvement. You will be expected to not only lead teams but
also engage in technical discussions, solution reviews, and hands-on oversight to
ensure delivery excellence.
What You’ll Do
• Delivery Ownership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity and IT
infrastructure services with full accountability for timelines, quality, and profitability.
• P&L Accountability: Own the financial performance of delivery engagements,
ensuring adherence to budgets, improving margins, and optimizing resource
allocation.
• Technical Engagement: Get involved in technical discussions, design reviews,
architecture validation, and troubleshooting where necessary. Collaborate closely
with cybersecurity architects, SOC teams, and engineers.
• Client Success Partner: Serve as the senior escalation point and trusted advisor for
clients, driving satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Governance & Reporting: Establish delivery governance, track SLAs, and provide
executive-level reporting on project performance and financial health.
• Operational Excellence: Conduct structured project kick-offs, weekly client updates,
and daily internal team stand-ups.
• Risk & Compliance: Anticipate risks, manage escalations, and ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2.Business Growth: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
during delivery engagements.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage technical and delivery teams, ensuring
effective utilization and skill development.
What You Bring
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Business
Management.
• Experience: 10–15 years in IT service delivery/project management, with at least 5
years in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure leadership.
• P&L Management: Demonstrated experience in delivery profitability, budget control,
and cost optimization.
• Technical Edge: Hands-on understanding of cybersecurity technologies and services
such as:
o SOC operations, SIEM, threat detection & incident response
o Vulnerability management, endpoint security, firewalls, cloud security
o Compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2)
• Methodologies: Strong command of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Leadership: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflictresolution skills.
• Tools: Proficiency with project management platforms (Jira, Zoho, Trello, Asana).
