SEO Team Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic SEO Team Lead to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will lead the SEO team, manage SEO strategy execution, and ensure the company’s digital presence ranks prominently in search engines. This role requires deep technical SEO knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical).
• Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, content writers, and link builders.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with content, development, and UX teams to optimize website structure and user experience.
• Perform SEO audits, monitor site health, and ensure adherence to Google Webmaster Guidelines.
• Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
• Prepare and present monthly SEO performance reports to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO trends.
• Identify and resolve SEO-related issues such as crawl errors, indexing issues, and site speed problems.
• Coordinate with PPC, social media, and content teams to align overall digital strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficient in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, CMS platforms (especially WordPress), and basic website development.
