Job Description

Position: Senior Warehouse Executive

Industry: Logistics & Supply Chain

Experience: 5 – 8 Years

Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management

Location: Thoothukudi

Salary: Based on experience and current CTC

Job Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, storage, and outbound activities.
Supervise and guide warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct regular stock audits, and maintain proper records.
Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and internal teams for timely dispatches and deliveries.
Implement and maintain warehouse safety standards and operational SOPs.
Manage space utilization and warehouse layout for efficient workflow.
Oversee material handling, packaging, and documentation processes.
Ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
Analyze operational performance and suggest process improvements to reduce cost and time.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools.
Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
Sound understanding of inventory management and logistics coordination.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead a team and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates with 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Prior experience in managing teams and handling large-scale warehouse functions.
Flexible to work in shifts and adaptable to dynamic logistics requirements.
