As the AIM COO Control Automation Engagement Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight for the entire offshore Control Automation engagement at Citi. Your responsibilities will include: - **Strategic Vision & Roadmap:** Defining and executing the strategic vision and roadmap for the offshore Control Automation engagement, ensuring alignment with Citi's global automation and risk management objectives. - **Delivery Excellence:** Overseeing end-to-end delivery of control automation projects, focusing on quality, speed to market, insourcing work from vendors, cost optimization, and knowledge retention. - **Engagement & Portfolio Management:** Ensuring successful delivery and value maximization across diverse business functions within the portfolio of offshore control automation programs and projects. - **Executive Stakeholder Management:** Cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with senior executives across various functions, acting as the primary point of contact for the offshore engagement. - **Global Collaboration & Integration:** Driving collaboration and knowledge transfer between offshore teams and global stakeholders to ensure consistent application of automation standards. - **Talent Leadership & Development:** Leading and developing a team of control automation professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, high performance, and talent retention. - **Innovation & Technology Adoption:** Spearheading the evaluation, adoption, and scaling of emerging technologies to enhance control automation capabilities. - **Operational Excellence & Governance:** Establishing robust operational governance frameworks to ensure process efficiency, quality standards, compliance, and effective risk management. - **Solution Architecture & Scalability:** Providing oversight on the design and scalability of automation solutions to address complex control challenges. - **Resource Optimization & Planning:** Strategically planning and allocating resources to optimize delivery and support long-term growth. - **Risk & Compliance Leadership:** Ensuring all automation efforts strengthen Citi's control environment and comply with regulatory requirements. - **Performance Measurement & Reporting:** Establishing key performance indicators and metrics for the offshore engagement, reporting progress and value realization to senior leadership. - **Process Enhancement:** Driving continuous improvement in automation development, deployment, and maintenance processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related quantitative field from a premier institution. - 15+ years of experience in technology, automation, or risk & control domains, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role. - Experience in a global financial services organization in the Risk & Control areas. - Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation initiatives with significant business impact. - Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with workflow management/automation tools. - Certifications in project management or agile methodologies. - Experience in driving organizational change and fostering innovation. - Experience in managing P&L or budget for a significant organizational unit or engagement.,
